CTA Tamil School – Preserving Language, Culture & Heritage
A warm, inclusive Tamil learning community in South Australia.
About CTA Tamil School
Established in 1988, the Adelaide Tamil Language School is an initiative of the Ceylon Tamil Association of South Australia. For more than three decades, the school has supported Tamil families by offering a strong foundation in language and culture.
Our school provides a nurturing space where children:
- Learn Tamil confidently
- Connect with their cultural roots
- Build lifelong friendships
- Celebrate traditions proudly
Today, students from Sri Lankan, Indian, Malaysian, Singaporean, and other Tamil-speaking backgrounds come together to learn, grow, and strengthen their identity.
Our Mission
Our mission is to preserve and promote the Tamil language, traditions, and cultural values among the next generation.
We aim to create an engaging learning environment where children not only master the language but also understand the heritage and stories behind it.
